So glad to live in the pacific northwest with low to no humidity during the summer. When I’ve traveled back east I nearly died! So I get what you mean about not being out between 10 and 6!

I also embraced my gray hair,although it turned out a great head of white hair,my hair is short so didn’t take long…here in Ontario Canada,I like to refer everyone’s white hair as Artic Blondes!Lol!I..I also need a routine in summer & actually get a lot of work done inside because of heat & humidity,I am an Decorative Artist…so being inside in the summer works for me! I decided to go gray in 2019 and don't regret it a bit. My hair was short then, so it didn't take as long. It really is empowering, accepting yourself and loving it.

I'm in the SC Lowcountry and I ❤ the heat. I'm constantly outside in the summer. That little trickle of sweat sliding down the center of my back is bliss. I only stay inside when it's below 40, which is rare around here! But also, we have a screened in in-ground pool so that definitely helps and we're 30 minutes from the beach. ❤ 🌞⛱️ And I don't have heart related health issues. But also I walk the dog at 630 am and 730 pm so the concrete doesn't burn her paws.

The impartial tests you did (somewhat) recently reinforced my reasons for buying Boll & Branch products. After viewing that episodw I ordered 2 more sets of sheets, duvet cover & blankets. We love them!!! Thank you!!

I’ve been watching videos since 2018 and have always been inspired by your travels! I started traveling in September of 2023 and now have been to over 30 states - with a trip to Hawaii in September! I also recently got my passport and have trips planned to London, Paris and hopefully Tokyo by the end of 2024! Hoping to go Italy in 2025. Thank you for all of the advice you’ve shared over the years!

I could not agree more on the summer “chub rub” problem!!! If I’m going to mainly be in A/C, I’ve found that Body Glide for Women usually does the trick. But if I’ll be out in the heat, I’m all in with Jockey slip shorts. Life changing! Stay cool! It’s been beastly here in the Boston area this week too.

Good luck on your journey to grey! I'm not that brave yet but admire those that are! My mother was an avid reader. After she passed, I found cheat sheets in her books. She always wrote down characters and how they were related to keep track of everyone.

Just got off of the valiant lady. Didn’t have the power issue but other small annoyances, including a few that you listed, definitely impacted our trip. Overall I was very disappointed and unimpressed.

Oh my gosh, I love what you said about summer with kids! You hit the nail on the head and I’ve never heard anyone freeze it quite like that. But today I was driving all around with drop offs and pick ups for camp and I was thinking this is totally not worth it. It’s interrupting my day more than if they were just at home lol! Thank you for the working mom pep talk - I needed to hear it! We are one week into summer break here, and I had a bit of a breakdown mid-week because my perfectly planned camp schedule that was set back in March seemed like it was crumbling due to my husband's job being short staffed and his schedule unexpectedly changing. It took a bit of rearranging to figure out pick up for two of the weeks, but not after several tears were shed and a bit of screaming into the void! Do not get me started on summer camps that only run until noon or 4:00 pm when working parents need care for their kids until 5pm or later... ugh...

I am SUCH a fan of linen bedding, we switched to linen duvet covers (UK!) and pillowcases a few years ago & won’t go back! Cool in summer, cosy in winter. Perfection!

I love that you are growing out your grays. I decided to do that when I turned 40 - I just couldn’t keep up the roots. Five years later, I love my salt and pepper hair.

I feel you, Jen. I’m a curly girl in the Houston area. The heat and humidity will keep me mostly indoors through September. My hair will be what it will be. I like Aveda and Bumble & Bumble products to keep my hair in check. Worth noting, is that J Jill has decent plus size options. I also like Boden for dresses. Stay breezy, my friend.

I accidentally came across this video on my UA-cam feed quite a few months after it was posted. I quite like your approach the way you describe it but I wanted to say that although I appreciate it about others somehow I have not been able to declutter my house. I have been holding on to things that I don’t use now and might not use in future just because they have been gifted by someone dear and lots of clothes that I can wear after losing weight. My husband being a busy doctor and my son pursuing medicine makes them so busy that they can’t help me get rid of unnecessary stuff. How and where can I start without getting overwhelmed?

I have the Everywhere Bag (the newer version and love it) and know you use yours pretty regularly. Do you still use your backpack? My husband has the Away larger carry on as well, and I feel like the backpack is more his style than the Everywhere Bag. Also…I JUST saw one of the electronics “grid” thing. I was thinking that the flat-ish set up is space saving, but I don’t see you use that in more recent videos. Pros/cons? Thank you for all you do.
